A burglary safe is a container that is designed to withstand light to heavy attacks inorder to keep its contents from being removed.  Different ratings are asigned by the insurance agency to develop a standard that will indicate the degree of protection a safe will provide against an attempted burglary attack. Burglary Fire safes utilize the same rating system with an additional rating assigned to the amount af time the contents can be unharmed by the heat generated from a fire.  

A drop safe is a type of safe that can be used to store cash in a buisness The unique feature of a drop safe is a slot or drawer that allows cash or documents to be put into the safe without opening it. 

While fire safes do offer some theft protection, their main purpose of design is to protect the contents of the safe from the heat generated from a fire.  Their ratings are ussually classifed in minutes such as 45, 60, and 90.   For example, the UL Class 350 60 minute fire rating means that the internal temperature of the safe will not exceed 350°F for at least 1 hour when exposed to external temperatures over 1700°F.

Floor safes are installed in the foundation and surrounded by concrete.  they can be covered by florring such as tile or carpet.  This not only conceals the safe but also increases the security of the container.  

A gun safe is a safe for one or more firearms and/or ammunition for those guns. Gun safes are primarily used to prevent access to unauthorized or unqualified persons, for burglary protection, and, in more capable safes, to protect the contents from damage during a flood, fire, or natural disaster.
